Summer is so much fun. The beach, sports, being outside with nature. For some people anyway. Summer is also long, and tiresome when you don't want to do "stuff." What you do want to do is watch TV, and in the summer, watching good TV might be a hunt. Sure their are diamonds in the ruff, but summer TV is not like the fall. But today is September 18th, and fall is approching fast. Tonight is the last day of summer. Well, for me anyway. I know this is the last day of summer because Big Brother 8 ends tonight. For some of us, fall TV has started already. This is my favorite time of year, this is the time when everything gets started, and this is the beginning of what will get me through the cold and miserable winter. It's Fall TV time folks! And this is about what you watch, TV.
I mentioned the end of Big Brother. Tonight at 9 I will be watching the end of a 3 month obsession. 3 shows a week, with live feeds running 24/7. Sure, I think that Survivor, and The Amazing Race are much better reality TV shows. But nothing gets as in depth to a show than Big Brother. So tonight I will watch Evel Dick win, Danielle get upset, and Eric reveled as America's Player. If you don't know what any of that means, oh well, cause it's over tonight and it doesn't matter. What does matter is that Summer TV is over, and the Fall season is starting.
We have plenty to watch this fall, Heroes starts in 6 days. Survivor starts Thursday. The new seasons of Scrubs, the Office, My Name is Earl, and Emmy winner 30 Rock will start soon. With all the new shows starting, and continuing, I'm not sure how many I will be able to review. I'm sure that some shows will come and go as the season goes on (Watching K-Ville last night, I'm giving it 3 episodes, then the hook.) The one this I'm positive about is I love the fall, some people get pumped for football, but this is the season I get pumped for, so lets get started!
